In an interview carried out at the COFENABVI headquarters, in Cocody, in Abidjan this Thursday, November 21, 2024, Issaka Sawadogo, PCA of the OIA and first head of the West African Confederation of the livestock sector, spoke about the news of its organization. At the start of the interview, Issaka Sawadogo, PCA of the OIA, and President of COFINABVI, reveals that the city of Abidjan alone consumes 700 heads of large livestock per day. Anything that reinforces his conviction that more adequate infrastructure is needed for the promotion and development of this promising sector. 
In this interview, Mr. Sawadogo reveals that an area with an area of ​​more than 240 hectares was set up by the state government of Côte d'Ivoire to concentrate the entire Livestock Sector, namely traders - slaughterhouse - breeders in a single pole. 

In relation with ECOWAS, UEMOA and USAID, the president of COFENABVI reveals, through this interview, the ambitions of all the stakeholders which is to ultimately make the livestock sub-sector ultra modern. 
This by an organization of the governing body of COFENABVI and the OIA which saw their structure reorganized in order to better respond to the challenge set.
